Strobo

Rotator lights or often called stroots are not accessories that can be consumed by all car users. Only certain vehicles can use it. Therefore, the use of strobe lights is not arbitrary. There are even three color groups of rotators that are deliberately separated as vehicle markers that have special privileges, namely blue, red, and yellow.

User Signal and siren lights are as follows:
Blue signal lights and sirens are used for cars of Indonesian National Police officers
Red signal lights and sirens are used for prison cars, escorting TNI, Fire, Ambulances, Red Cross, and Bodies
Yellow signal lights without sirens are used for toll road patrol cars, traffic monitoring facilities and infrastructure and road transportation, maintenance and cleaning of public facilities, towing vehicles and special freight transportation.

Article 59 of Law NO.22 of 2009
(1) For certain purposes, Motorized Vehicles can be equipped with signal lights and / or sirens.
(2) Signal lights as referred to in paragraph (1) consist of colors:
a. red;
b. blue; and
c. yellow.
(3) The red or blue signal lights as referred to in paragraph (2) letters a and b and the sirens as referred to in paragraph (1) function as a sign of the Motor Vehicle having the main right.
(4) The yellow signal light as referred to in paragraph (2) letter c functions as a warning sign to other road users.
(5) The use of signaling lights and sirens as referred to in paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) as follows:
a. blue signal lights and sirens are used for Motorized Vehicles of the Republic of Indonesia National Police officers;
b. red signal lights and sirens are used for motorized detainees, escorting the Indonesian National Army, firefighters, ambulances, red bars, rescue, and bodies; and
c. yellow signal lights without sirens are used for motorized motorway patrol, supervision of facilities and infrastructure of traffic and road transportation, maintenance and cleaning of public facilities, towing vehicles, and transportation of special goods
